Massage Modalities

Choose between deep-pressure Ashiatsu and relaxing Swedish massage.

Ashiatsu

Ashiatsu (Deep Feet Bar Therapy) is arguably the deepest and most luxurious massage modality and is appropriate for most clients. During a session, Jamie supports her weight using parallel bars on the ceiling to apply the right amount of pressure with her feet. This modality is great for clients who prefer a lot of pressure during a massage. Most people who try Ashiatsu end up loving it.

Pricing: $85/hour, $125/1.5 hours

Swedish

The Swedish modality is the golden standard of massage therapy. During a Swedish massage, Jamie uses her hands to traverse the muscle fibers applying a varied but specific pressure. This modality has been scientifically shown to reduce stress, relieve anxiety, enhance posture, and improve mobility.

Thai

Thai Massage is a unique modality in which Jamie uses compression, pulling, stretching, and rocking. During a Thai massage you will wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing similar to what you would wear to a yoga class. This modality is a great choice for clients wanting to focus on mobility, flexibility, and physical performance. Since no oil is used during the massage, Thai massage is a go-to modality for clients with skin sensitivities.

Ashi-Thai

Ashi-Thai is a blend of Ashiatsu and Thai Massage techniques that focuses on stretching and tissue compression. Many people compare Ashi-Thai to a combination of yoga and massage. A distinguishing feature of this modality is that clients wear clothing during the message - preferably loose-fitting clothing that one might wear to a yoga class. Ashi-Thai can also be added to our other massage modalities in 30 and 45 minute intervals.

Pricing: $85/hour
